About the Event

Oslo Sinfonietta @ Klang

The most recent work on the program is Bestes Eisregen, inspired by the meteorological phenomenon that has given it the title and, as in Danish, is the essence. Ice cold rain turns into ice the moment it hits the frozen soil and creates damage to nature and to humans and machines.

COM unTime of Destremau was composed in 2015 to Ensemble Recherche, and is for ensemble and electronics. In the beginning, two sound defenders exist simultaneously - it fills more than the other, but in small windows a world of dancing, jazzed music suggests that there are different perspectives.

Tjøgersens away Traveling Light II is dancing, full of delicious sounds that are repeated. Elegant and quirky on the one hand, puzzlingly and scary on the other. The second part of the concert is mechanical.

Thomas Agerfeldt Olesen's power work Tonkraftwerk with almost 20 years on the bag is a monster of a piece of music, with a skewed surplus, this tonal power plant has been unpredictably made.

Program:

Ansgar Beste: Eisregen (2016/2017) WORLD PREMIERE

Loïc Destremau: COM unTime (2015)

Kristine Tjøgersen: Travelling Light II (2015)

Thomas Agerfeldt Olesen: Tonkraftwerk (1999)
