10 years DanseFOT!
For their 10th anniversary DanseFOT is performing In C by Terry Riley and renowned choreographer Sasha Waltz. The young talents of the DanseFOT program are accompanied by professional dancers of the Nagelhus Schia Productions.
The piece is based on the musical work with the same name by American composer Terry Riley, which was released in 1964. He counts as the pioneer of minimal music and has paved the way for other composers to follow. The choreography In C by Sasha Waltz has since its premiere in March 2021 become and continues to be a worldwide success.
DanseFOT devotes themselves to support young dancers from the Oslo region and gives them the opportunity to further their talents through classes, projects and performances alongside professional dancers and choreographers.
This performance for their 10th anniversary stands for the support of young talents as it is also part of Oslo Sinfoniettas FABER project and a collaboration with Ung Musikk.
